im bouncing off the walls tonight

I feel like a pinball in the pinball machine.... Im bouncing all over the place tonight. I can't seem to stop throwing up. Please please help me. Im so far along.... Getting close to the 60 day mark. And still having that issue. Is it still from the oxies? Or did i mess up something else on me. Please please help. Im getting really scared. I wake up and still shake like i have parkisons disease and still throw up. Today is my sons birthday and i took him out to eat. I ate and off i went to the bathroom. I promise im not into letting go of my food. I definatley  don't have a eating disorder. I am so tired of being sick. Is this my payback. I went so long today and didn't complain. Im sorry i failed a goal of mine. I wasn't gonna complain but i am really getting worried about me. Any suggestions would be great.

Well, I'm kinda new, and I was using Norco for a long time. I did use oxies, but always went back to the hydro. I've read on this site that the oxie wdl is harder, but 60 days - seems like some healing should be happening. Maybe see a doc? Again, I don't know; just feel your pain and wish there was more I could come up with. I've read lots of your posts - the help and encouragement you sent to others. You are an inspiration - hang in there.

Don't want to take anything... Im so sick of pills. I am also.sick of vomiting. I think this is my payback. I was so embarrassed at dinner tonight. I told my son sorry.. I didn't want him upset. He told me its ok mom. Its ok. And then i ran out to the car and really got sick. He had to drive us home and listen to me. Poor kid. What a way to start his new decade. It amazes me how much he knows about opiates. He knows more than me. These kids look at things so differently than us. I swear this is my payback. I know it is. Im paying for my sins. I was told it takes a month for every year you use....if that's the case Im gonna be sick for a year... A year lol.... Who in their right mind can vomit everyday for a year and have an esophogus. Its not funny. Its not doable. I've already lost over 50 pounds of myself...if i stand sideways the wind will blow me away....really.

Yeah vomitting is not good. You need to replace some of the nutrients that you are giving to the toilet. I would even talk to my doctor. I would be suspicous of an ulcer or even colitis. Eventually that vomit could mess with your esaphogus (sure that is spelled wrong) too much acid in the tract.

Thanks Kyle...i can't tell my doctor this...and my son looked up this and nothing points out anyone vomiting past  two weeks. Well not true. Im here to tell you i do. Come on @#%&**/ what kind of doctor do i need to see? Im already scared of those people in white coats. They want to poke me. Cut me. Come on say it isn't so. Come on man. It's not payback. It is your body trying to cope without the pills. You can't look at it as a punishment; we are human, weak, happy, sad, strong. All of those and more. You've hit a bad patch. You have a son who supports and understands you. I told my kids when I was going through wdls. I decided not to pass it off as "the flu". Again, I can't speak to oxies, but that sound like a long time to go through wdls. At least at the level you're at. Hold on. You've come this far. Amazing to those of us just starting.

There are some good docs out there. If you're not happy with yours, then find another. I agree with tulsa - maybe something cause by the use, or not; your gut may be messed up, could be a simple thing. Don't blow it up until you know.

Oh bams, I have 13 doctors and I never let them forget they work for me. Just tell em how long symptoms you don't have to say why. They will give you some banana tasting crap to drink and then they will look in thru an MRI. don't hurt but damned scary. You throwin up so much your body cannot possibly absorb the stuff if needs to fix itself. You are my hero. I need you to stay with me. Don't let this take you out because it can. I am sure by now you are anemic as well as calcium and vit D deficient. Got keep you in the game. PLEASE

This might be something very easily treated but in your mind you have them taking your esophagus out thru your butt.  You know you need to be seen by a doctor and if you dont go then you are going to have to just put up with vomiting.  Those are your choices.

HI IMwith Sarah on this one    GET TO A DOCTOR this is no longer withdrawals it could be a type of panic disorder or you may have something going on with your gastro system but you need to get checked out have them run a liver panel on you this could be liver related and we often damageare livers with using this is not something you can let go you need to get to the bottom of this good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

Gnarly hit it with the liver panel. All that time in school, I just mite have learned something. From what i can remember the food is iritating your tummy maybe b/c your liver is not producing the right amount of bile anymore. The acid in your tummy works with the bile to disolve, separate and send the right stuff where it needs to go. THE GALBADDER is your central processing unit for that. I am not a doctor, but i do work in health care. Just something to think about. i take simvastatin for that reason.

i know you said you dont want to take anymore pills but ive noticed that for myself taking zantac or an acid reducer(from cvs or walgreens) helps with some of my stomach issues, i know they are for heartburn but they really do seem to help me when i have vomiting issues

Bama...in my opinion there is no way your vomiting is being caused from the withdrawals. That should've subsided a long time ago. That symptom, if one even has it, usually only happens during that first week. I too was prescribed oxy and got to where I was taking 3 and sometimes 5 of the 80mg a day. I went cold turkey but never threw up. Not saying that wasn't one of your symptoms but you're far enough out it is a symptom of withdrawals any longer. At this point all that would be caused from the withdrawals would be some light p.a.w.s which isn't really physical. You really need to consider going and getting looked at. If a doctor prescribes anything it would just be something non narcotic and for the stomach. The thing is, just because it's prescribed doesn't mean you have to take it. That's why the pharmacy gives out all of those information pamphlets. There is nothing wrong with taking something non narcotic for a legitimate reason. Right now it's not about what may or may not be prescribed. There could be something else going on where you need to seek medical attention. Then again, maybe not, but why take that chance? There's no reason to fear doctors.

I have a question? Do you drink alcohol. Sometimes this will happen if you have increased wine etc, after detoxing? Just a thought. The throwing up does not seem normal to continue for so long.

Ok Bamma... U CAN DO THIS!!! But you are going to HAVE TO GO SEE A DOCTOR. They cannot do anything to you that you don't allow. But u hv to see what the problem is... especially with that much weight loss!!!

Maybe a woman would be easier to talk to!!! Plz do something!! That weight loss is not normal. I normally loss weight while doing drugs not clean... u know that!! You can get thru this. U are so strong and u hv come sooooo far. But u want to br healthy and clean... not just clean!!!

I've had my liver screened. Its good. I don't have any vitiam d in my system so i take a supplement. And i take a shot of b 12. So i don't know. I also have tried all otc  med for this. I will go to doctor on Monday. Im scared to admitted to her about all my drugs.

Don't be scared to admit anything, especially to a doctor. You pay them to provide a service and the only way they can help you is if you are completely honest. If you were going to add an addition onto your house you will tell the builder everything about your house and what you want the outcome to be. You have to do the same with a doctor. They work for you. You don't work for them. If you don't feel comfortable talking to a certain doctor fire them and find another. Once you find the right one you will be able to tell them anything and not have to worry. Trust me, you're not going to tell them anything they haven't heard before. There are so many of us that have become addicted due to pain so it won't be any big surprise to a doctor. Since you are now clean you should be ecstatic about sharing it! You need to hold your head high and be proud of yourself!

I'm sorry you are feeling so rotten...And if your liver is fine-it probably is just the flu...There are a lot of nasty viruses going around right now.  I'm hearing your panic and you need to take a deep breath and think about this rationally.  You know the mental part of your addiction is powerful-so do what you can to quiet that with a meeting if you can...Keep hydrated and see what the doctor says.  I agree with Sara and Gnarly....You gotta tell the doctor the truth.  It's the only way they can treat you properly and you can feel better.  I have Crohns so I know all about nausea, diarrhea and vomiting...They have good non-addictive medicines for this.  Please take good care of yourself, be kind to yourself...and post and let us know how you are.....Much love....Lu
