inhaling mothballs and naphthalene deodorizers

inhaling mothballs and naphthalene deodorizers

I cannot stop inhaling these. I have to inhale them a few times daily until i feel a "high". I'm an otherwise normal woman. I am being treated for depression, but i'm functional and no one would ever guess that I'm ill. So why can't I stop this addiction to the smell of mothballs and naphthalene deodorizers that smell mothball like. Could there be a nutritional deficiency? I've read that it could be a lack of iron. How dangerous is this problem and what am I doing to my body?

I don't know if it can be connected at all to some type of vitamin deficiency .I would come clean with your doctor and ask for help. You are not alone there are many others that have the same addictions .Good luck ...stick around there is tons of support here.
