injecting fentanyl

I hope i am posting this in the right place, if not could someone help me with where to post it? Please? I  have been injecting fentanyl for less than two weeks. My question is are the  withdrawals going to  take  as as lon as someone who has bee on the fentanyl patch? I hope not because the half life of the patch is days and the injectible is 186 min i think. I am hoping the withdrawal from the injection will be much shorter than from the patch. please let me know if anyone has any onput on this or how the half-life of a drug relates to the withdrawal  one  can expect when comming off the drug?  Thank you  so much for  any insight

Injecting does not  necessarily mean that the withdrawal will be any less difficult.  If the half life is less time, then that only means that you will go into withdrawal sooner.  Yes, it is possible that the drug will be out of your system quicker, but you would still go through the same withdrawal, if not worse from injecting.  Do you want to quit - if so, this is the right place to be.
