I'm still up. Can't sleep. My heart is racing and my legs are hurting like crazy. I too almost caved to the cravings, but chose to stay strong. 34 hours and counting. But unfortunately I'm only counting minutes at this point.
Glad you didn't go back out!!!!! Stay strong!!!!!!

hey...good to see you.  IBKleen told me to sit in my most comfortable chair and put a heating pad on my legs.  It really helped, try it.
IT WAS A REALLY TOUGH NIGHT, I ALMOST, ALMOST WENT BACK OUT, but my support system caught me in time so I"m okay, well not really okay, but not using anyway.

I'll probably be up for a while, feeling a little nausous, took some immodium.

You'll be okay, if I can do this, you can. I can't believe I made it one whole day
stay strong, just one week of hell and we have our lives bacck

Yeah I know.....just a week of hell. I know I don't EVER want to go through this again. I've felt sick all day. No running to the bathroom yet but that could be because I'm taking prescription Motrin as often as I can.
Almost went to get some pills myself this evening but I didn't (yea). Didn't feel like I could drive. My husband felt so bad for me today cause he knew I was in pain (from my back) but he knows I want off these pills. I will deal with the pain. I just want to be me again.
By the way I'm really proud of you for not going back out tonight!!!!!!
I've had a heating pad on my back most of the day and it has helped me some.

hello ladies - I'm still up bec I am in australia LOL its 6pm or so here. I am so glad you hung in there oxypen, amazing how intense that craving/compulsion to use is - now that you have withstood the first one, you know that you can do it again. Both of you, good on you - one minute at a time is how you will get through this day, and that is all you need to think about for now. I wish you both sleep, or if not quite that, then a bit of  a reprieve

I'm proud of you, so glad u didn't go back out either.  It's really tough but I would feel awful if you did.  You're my get well partner and I need youto stay with me.  I''m pretty shaky abd having all kinds of trouble typing as you can probably see by all my mistakes, but I'm here, just doing a lot of ready of posts.  You should read them, some are really inspirational, some are sad, some are even funny, they are all great.  What an awesome team here.

I'm up as well. Haven't slept through a full night yet! I will fall asleep then awaken about 2 or 3 in the morning. Its off an on for me. I think we all have "almost" days.I know I do. I don't know about anyone else but I had a habit of taking pills when I had to go somewhere or went shopping with my mom. I felt it made it funner or I don't know I felt that good feeling and it was like I had to take it to go. Thats still my problem. But i'm working on it! This site is really good for me now. I read so many posts and it really helps knowing im not the only one going through this. It's been awhile for me but still a tad difficult. Sorry went on a rant!

Hey there, I just posted to you on the other forum.  I just hate that you are suffering so, I wish I could do something to help.  Just stay strong, you do not want even the last 24 hours to be for nothing, it may be another couple days before you notice any kind of relief, but it WILL happen.  Like I said, I just wish there was something I could do to even give you the slightest relief, I am so sorry.  If you happen to live in Texas, anywhere in Texas, I will try to come help - cook for you, clean house, anything.

Love, Cindy

dont turn back now, what i have found that helps me sleep is to open the windows in your room and make it as cold as possible, then use a heating pad on your legs with a blanket. i keep my legs in the cold to try and make em numb from the cold it seems to help a little. take as many hot showers or baths as you can stand and while your in the shower or bath stretch your legs, then contract your muscles and relax em, contract and relax, till there tired, this will help with restless leg syndrom (syndrome), to me that is the worst part of WD's i ahve so much hardware in my ankle and tibula, and have had so many surgerys on em that i have rls even when i was not in WD's. hey cindy i wanna come to texas and fish for a few days got a couch i can crash on? JK JK, but anyway i wish you some well deserved sleep tonight.
peace

sure not having a problem with heat.  On top of everything else, my furnace broke down last night and it's only 10 degrees or let me think that would be 51 F. Whatever, it's cold.  I called the repairman so he's probabIy ging to be here banging all day long.  I hope I don't kill him!!! lol  managed to get a few hours sleep so I'm really grateful for that. this morning my stomach aches so bad, feels like someone is twisting it around.  I just took some Zantac, not sure if that will help or not.  I'm also pretty shaky so i'ts hard to type so excuse all the typos, I'm just too tired to go back and fix them all/  I have to go in to work for a coupld of hours this morning.  I'm not sure how I'm going to handle that.  It's imperative that i go, but I'm sure everyone will understand when i have to turn around and leave again.  I look dreadful, not sure if I'm even strong enough to have a shower.  If I do manage to get in I''ll try your system to get rid of teh restless legs.  That is the owrst, I think, I have no control of my legs bouncing around, it's awful.

lexigirl - you can do this, believe me if I can anyone can,  stick around here, there's a ton of support. I know i wouldn't have been able to do this without this forum.  I'm all alone at home but not really, I've made alot of awesome friends on here that have been with me the whole way.  They'll help yu plan a day, and stick with you through the whole thing.  I'll be as much help to you as I can, just please stay!
