During my withdrawals I used OTC benedryl (or Tylenol PM, which contains benedryl) and - now please don't laugh - a glass of moo juice at bedtime. Not glamorous, but it worked pretty well.
I also noticed a marked correlation between the amount of exercise I got during the day and the amount of sleep I git at night. First comes the exercise, then comes the sleep.
Finally, on really bad nights, I made myself "go to my happy place." In my case, I built a boat in my mind. I would plan every detail, from building the jig to erecting the shelter to buying materiel. I visualized every joint and plank. Eventually I would relax and sleep. And, while I was awake, I wasn't tossing and turning. I have read that Americans held captive by the North Vietnamese used similar tricks while spending months and even years in solitary. One guy played a round of golf at every course he ever played.
The are many conponets that will cause someone not to sleep soundly. I take melatoin the sublingle kind 2one mgs. under my tongue 20 mins 4 bedtime. Ido not have any body sensations keeping me from sleep ie; cramping nerves. So this may help you go to sleep but will probally not e enough to keep you asleep with the other body problms.
Ckeck with your doctor and tell them whats going on with the nervous tention. A non narcoti muscle relaxer may bo the trick,You wil need a script for that. God Luck
CNS= central nervous system, basically the "pipeline", neural pathways from the brain to the whole body. some people are susceptible to damage from certain drugs. it is not clear who, why, what drugs as we're all different. I'm hoping my nerves will heal eventually, but this nervous tension every night is driving my crazy.
try melatonin it's a natural sleep aide product.Youcan find it anywhere (target, kmart, walmart) I needed at least two in the beginning. Good luck.
What is CNS? I take 1 benadryl and 1 lyrica at night. The lyrica is not addicting ( not to me anyway)...i can go weeks wout it and it doesnt bother me. It helps w my pain nerves and to sleep.
