There's a prescription medication used for smoking cessation called Chantix. It's helped many people stop smoking. It has some benefits to some opiate addicts for craving control as well. That's the only way I'd try to stop smoking so soon after stoping the opiates.
thanks for all the help, i'LL WAIT AWHILE B4 I QUIT CIGS...
ciggarettes dont have phsyical withdrawals, but a very strong mental withdrawal wich is why so many people just cant quit or put those little sticks down...i quit afew years ago, i quit oxycontin, xanax, weed, and cigs at the same time....it what the worst time of my life nothing compared to what im feeling now wich is why i know im gonna make it past these wd's...the cigs would have been nice to wait on for a month or so, but everything i smoked i got alot of anxiety bc i was quitted xanax also so i just didnt even want to feel that and quit as well...
you can wait a month so you can at least have something for now...but you could quit if you have the strength and you wont have any wd's just the mental craving wich are killer, but nothing like wd's!! good luck my friend
Don't quit just yet. The withdrawals from opiates is a long road... Give it some more time.

being an x-smoker and a 5 day detox user of hydros, I have to ask you this one question....
ARE YOU FRICKIN CRAZY??!! LOL
Give yourself a break. Geez, smoke em if ya got em. It's hard enough right now. Sounds like you have the desire to quit, but man, wait a little bit.
It sounds entirely too painful to me. I had to do a decade in between!
I would say that it's prob a little soon to quit cigs. That's just my opinion but, in a few dayz when you might want SOMETHING, like a hydro...a cig would be much better for you! Hope I could help!
