You have been through the ringer! and so young ta boot!
I am coming off Vicodin 500 mg a day for 4 months (about 8 - 10 pills/day) and am noticing emotional issues more so than anything else.  I've never done the patch - thus, can't advise you - but can tell you that I admire your guts and strength to overcome "ALL' of what you've been through.
God Bless,

Hi,
I just got done doing a long taper off of fentanyl pain patches. Is that the kind of patch you're talking about?? I should never have been on them, but there is a place for them when a patient is in severe chronic pain. You start to feel the patch work in 8-17 hours. The mcg is the amount that is going into your system per hour.
I was put on them for post op pain and that was wrong. They're addictive and it took me a long time to get off of them. I don't have pain. Be sure you read all the do's and don't's in the papers that come with it from the pharmacy.

Keep posting.....LS

Please use the Duragesic exactly as your supposed too. Do not ever try to get creative with them because they are a devil in disguise.
