klonopin for Oxy withdrawal

by hehmke, Apr 10, 2009 10:21PM
SWIM has been taking 30-40mg per day for 6 months. First 4 months taking 2-3 days off per week, but has been on this dosage every day for a month.

How helpful is klonopin in decreasing symptoms of W/D from a low/medium dosage of oxy?

Individuals tell this person that oxy W/D is a cake walk compared to Heroin, and have laughed at this person for being worried about feeling symptoms at this dosage.

SWIM= someone who isnt me

SWIM only has 4 1mg klonopin pills that they will take when feeling anxiety.  Mostly WD seem to affect more psychologically than physically, especially at these low dosages.  SWIM has read that some people take 200-300 mg daily for pain...and in those cases SWIM imagines that they would need to taper possibly...

Thanks for the thoughts.
