You can do it.. give yourself a few days to adjust to the new dose.. Pick up some Hylands Restful Legs at the drug store. It should help..If you need anything just ask.. You are doing great.. keep hanging on

we r watchin "house" some kid is sick and they can't figure out why. as far as the taper and the methadone maint. I might have to go back up to 35mg and I really want to get off of the methadone and these fukin pillllssss . anyways whats wrong with ur tummy sweetie >? keri

I just hate fukin withdrawal. I thought I could handle it but I am such a chicken **** , my legs hurt and I am ready to lie cheat and steal to get some pills ... ugly . I just want to be normal again , should of stayed on cocaine at least its not physically addictive. keri

my tummy??? who knows, LOL... i'm just sick and tired (literally :) of being sick. my PC dr. put me on Iron yesterday and it hurt my stomach, and its still bothering me. its really weird cause its not painful at all, more like very uncomfortable, know what i mean??? i didnt sleep well last night, i finally fell asleep around 2am (i just kept tossing and turning) got up at 6 am today and i'm fatigued and tired. i tries to take a nap several times today, but i couldnt sleep cause my tummy is making it impossible to get comfortable.

Honestly i shouldnt complain, i'm not in any real pain, guess i'm frustrated with everything and overtired.

hows everything with you (besides the tapering)???

tink , I asked if I could go down another 2 mgs. so i am down to 33 mg and my legs r hurting and I don't no if I want to go any futher with this detox........ I just dont want to feel this freakin withdrawal symthoms .... u no and to get off of this chit totally I might have to feel the withdrawls and I dont want too , been thinkin about how to get some pills , Iron makes your tummy hurt and constipates you or at least it did me oooxxx keri

sounds like you're having a rough time today. i personally have no experience with methadone (i almost went on it a few yrs ago, but got scared). anyways i here its harder to w/d from than pain pills. did you say your thinking about getting some pills??? what kind? methadone???  are you having trouble sleeping now that you went down 2 mgs???

you know what i'm gonna tell you....w/d's are hard and your not gonna feel good. have you tried going on Suboxone??? i went on it for a week and i was amazed at how good i felt.

More pills is not gonna make it better. Methodone cancels out opiates if you take em.. Just hang on.. it will take your body a lil bit to adjust to the new dose. I think Tink is right though. Methodone is really much harder to get off of and the WD can last months after you finally get off of it. Have you thought about Suboxone?? You could switch over from the methodone its supposed to be much easier to taper off than methodone.

freaky.i too dropped my mdone dose today by 2.5mgs to 30mgs(down from 155mgs ova the last 6months).i normally dont notice the drop til the next day.I feel good 2day but i know come this weekend i will start to feel a lil seedy.Like u i also wonder if dtoxing is such a good idea.usually feel like that wen im hanging.Mayb sub is an option for u to consider.personally,im gonna stick with what i know.Mdone.i just wanted to encourage u to keep strong.Mdone will always b there if sobriety dont agree with u.
