this is what i did
1. set up a taper plan
2. give pills to a friend, spouse, sponsor, do not give yourself pain meds, you are not in control
3. if you cannot sleep, do not force it, find a hobby to keep you busy,
4. read "in times of illness" everyday
5. goto a meeting everyday
these are a few suggestions that helped me get through pain pills during chemo, last summer
but in 2004 when i was on a very large amount of opiates, i went ct, and eventually my wd symptoms landed me in icu, that is because i had a mess of health problems
if leg pain is your only symptom, take some motrin, and pray, it will pass,
i will check in on you tommorow, hang in there

1. Hot baths-- as hot as u can stand -if it cools off ,let the water out and start over.Do it right before bed and u might get a few hrs of sleep.
2.Valarien root tea- Its nasty tasting ,but it will relax your tremors and help you sleep.
3. Wrap your legs in ace bandages before bed ,it will help with the circulation.Thats the issue in your legs.
4. Heating pads, wrap your legs in them until you fall asleep then have someone turn it off for you if you can ,if not put them on low before falling asleep.
I hope this helps you some, I will pray for you as well as myself.
