I am not sure what you are detoxing from but first of all stay strong. If you have the determination to detox, you have the strength to follow it through. As far as chat rooms, I don't look for any. I went to drugs.com and this web site to find out about detoxing from fentanyl patch and there is no medical help on line that I have found.
I am now over a month cold turkey off the 50mcg of fentanyl and I was offered diazipam from my doctor to get me through the sleepless nights but that did not help and I found I was taking more which only adds to another addiction.
Let me tell you how I did it. When I looked in the mirror and found I was down to 108 pounds, it scared the hell out of me. That was enough for me to quit. First it take shear determination and maybe fear to stop after seeing what the drugs are doing to your system. Then there is the focus of just doing this to save your life. There is a mental attitude that must stay in your mind daily when detoxing. Now the next step is to maintain your health the best way you can. Find foods you want to eat and add a supply of vitamins to help you body recover. Again, you have got to stay focused that you want to detox and again with that in mind, keep the endorphins pumped up by walks or exercise. Keep your body busy with doing something that you like. Take warm baths daily to help relax. Keep hydrated with a lot of water.
Now the sleepless I think is the worst and the leg kicks. That is so annoying and stressful.  I take muscle relaxers and they help a little but I also take melatonin and check at your local pharmacy for the strongest dosage I think they have 10mg. I was still going through a rough time with the sleeping and found an old medication I used to take for Neuropathy. It is called Gabapentin/Neurontin. The side effects of this medication causes sleepiness and when mixed with the muscle relaxer, it helped. Check with drugs.com on your medication list and side effects of any drugs you are taking, It helps you understand any dangers to watch out for. Again stay focused that you want to do this and have to do this for what ever reason you need.
I took my wheelchair down to the ocean which I like to do and put on my music to help focus on the beauty of what I am seeing and the music I enjoy hearing. Any distraction that will help your mind focus on something else will help each day. You have got to stay strong if you want to do this and just do it. Don't count the days until you start to feel better and then look back at how many days you have accomplished. Try the best you can to get the sleeping under control. That was the roughest for me but I am now doing it. Sleep helps your body do many things while detoxing. Keep the body busy and confused so that it does not recognize what is happening. Keep eating and again, stay strong if you really want to do this. I know it scared the hell out of me when I saw how sick I looked and all my doctor could do was offer me another pill to help me detox. That showed me that I had to do this on my own and not trust a doctor who wants to give me another drug to help me detox. Your have got to keep the determination to detox strong in your mind that you want to do this and need to do this or else...
That is the strongest part about getting through the detox. Find any way you can to help with the sleeping. Read up on line what you can do to help with the sleeping. Don't over react to too much that you read. Your mind is going to try and confuse you with all that you are going through but keep yourself focused on your goal and keep your body busy so the endorphins can react. The endorphins help the body do many things and that is one way to help the body heal. I understand this is a rough road to go down but if you are determined to do this,, then keep that in mind daily. You have a purpose to detox and that has got to be your goal daily. Support from people help. Don't be afraid to go on line and ask questions from others that are going through what you are. I recommend drugs.com but this site is also good.
I sincerely wish there was a medical community that could help us understand detoxing on line but I have found little to help. Check on line about your condition and the medications you take and educate yourself on what these drugs are supposed to do to help your body. I guess this is the best advise I can offer at present and I really wish you much luck and be proud of yourself for wanting to go through what you are trying to do. Pat yourself on the back daily for kicking. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell your self that you can and will do this! Keep the determination up any way you can and don't worry about how many days, worry about the food, maintaining the sleep, exercise, the focus and any help from others that are willing to understand what you are doing. When your body can return to a 'normal' sleeping cycle or at least get better sleep, that is a sign that you are on the mend. That is a start and that is what you need to keep focused on. It takes a very strong mind to detox and you have got to have the will to do it! I know when I saw how sick I looked, it scared the hell out of me and that was my focus. I am ow clean over 30 days and do feel better but still have a lot to go through but at least I know I am on the mend. The you can count the days with pride that you have accomplished this much and be proud that you did this to help yourself. It is all about you and what you can do and that is where the pride kicks in when you have accomplished this much.
GOOD LUCK AND DO THE BEST YOU CAN FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE IT IS YOUR BODY AND YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS THAT MATTER.  Stay strong and just do it! It is the only road to recovery that helped me.....

Although the ativan DID make me sleep, I paid a price for it in the long run by staying on it too long. Atthebeach is correct, the natural remedies she mentioned will relax you without creating another problem. Sending much support your way!

The ativan won't help you sleep and it will just make you feel more foggy. Get natural  otc supplements  melotonin, valerian root, sleep by nature made, alteril, sleepy time amd chamomile tea. Just rest when you can. Just try to relax, lay and watch mocies, listen to music, be patient. It is going to take your your whol body, mind, soul, spirit, emotions, mind, brain to heal. One hour at a time.

That is very true.  Most of the online chat rooms don't even deal with addiction  They all know each other and are chatting about different things.
If you want help detoxing, this is the best place that I have found.
However, if you want to attend a meeting online, there are several places for that.

BTW, I just realized that you were looking for an online chat for detoxing. So you know--if you are to join an NA online meeting group please know that they don't deal with detox. NA is a program of recovery. That recovery begins after the drugs are gone if that makes sense. You may want to broaden your search criteria to include the word "detox" and see what else is available for you.

Or you could just stay right here on MH and share with us. Many members are where you are and that is great for support to know you are not alone. Some members haven't begun to detox and that is great to remind you where you have been. And then there are members who have clean time behind them and that is great to help guide you and to let you know there is hope no matter what. Each and every member here can be helpful by sharing their experience, strength and hope no matter what stage they are at. So I hope you decide to stick around here.....

There are NA on line meetings.  Also search IN THE ROOMS.  They have all kinds of meetings, plenty of info, chat rooms and are very helpful.

why cant you leave the house? because you are in withdrawal?

I don't know why you can't leave the house and it's a shame because nothing can replace that one-on-one interaction that you get with a meeting. Words, feeling and emotions (just to name a few) are often misunderstood on the internet so for me an online meeting would not be beneficial. But if you feel okay with it then go for it. Your best bet is to do a google search. I have heard that they are out there--it is just a matter of finding one that is right for you. I wish you the best.
