If you are trying to avoid physical withdrawal subutex and suboxone can help.  If you go to www.heretohelpprogram.com you can find a doctor that prescribes sub.  This is only going to avoid withdrawal now, eventually you will withdrawal from the sub when you get off of it, so it is a double edged sword.  It is also quite pricey.

If you can get 4 or 5 days off of work, I would give cold turkey a try.  Get it all done and over with.  Its also more cost efficient.  There are meds out there that can help ease withdrawal symptoms. (immodium, valium, vitamins)  If you talk to your doctor and explain your situation they can prescribe meds to help ease those symptoms.  If you scroll to the bottom right of this page you will see the link to the thomas recipe and amino acid protocol, both of those pages you may find helpful.

The physical part is the easy part, with or without sub you will have to deal with the mental withdrawal which does last a while.  Look at all of your options and decide what is best for you :)

Good Luck on your Journey & God Bless
