marijuana dependence

by lombardialily, Jan 03, 2008 02:39PM
I have been regularly smoking marijuana for years.  My hubby and I both smoke, as do most of our friends.  I need to quit for several reasons: tired of feeling "dopey" in the morning, munchies have destroyed my girlish figure, no motivation any more.  Everything I have read about it is to "drop your pot-smoking friends, and then you can do it."  well I can't do that part.  I love my hubby, not leaving him over this, and he has no desire to quit, and I won't force the issue.  Any suggestions for quitting it without quitting him?

Prayer worked for me. I still remember the day it happened. Urges cravings even the smell had no affect on me.
You are in a tough situation with a hubby smoking. It will be harder, but if you decide that it is not for you than so be it. Maybe as you get free and clearer headed, your hubby will follow? I hope so.
Good Luck.
