16 dys. OFF hydo 5/500. feel ok physically. but suffer from pm depression. live alone have dog lost partner of 23 yrs yr. ago to cancer.

dealing with stomach problems today in and out of bathroom, don't know if it is "going around" or is part of w/d.? thanks for the support.

thanks for support. have none where i am living. (alone+d0g).am dealing with sinus issues, cough. then stomach issues been in bathroom all day. don't know if it is relate  withdrawal or its just going around? but @ day 17 now.!

Welcome to the forum, congrats on 16 days and so sorry you are dealing with all this pain.  I am 36 days off hydros and feeling depressed myself so I understand where you are coming from.  For me personally there is no choice but to move forward and keep going without the pills but it isn't without struggle and emotional stuff.  Take it day by day and hang in there.  

Post here for support - this board is wonderful, full of so many wise and caring people!  You will be supported here.

Hi and welcome! Great to hear you have made it to 16 days. That's fantastic!

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't begin to imagine what you are going through, yet you found the strength to quit. That is a HUGE accomplishment. Please post as often as you need. We're here for you. I am putting you on my prayer list. Take care of yourself during this vulnerable time.

i was hooked for 8 years...I've stopped abusing oxycontin Nov 15...yes i had a couple of relapses...went to surgery again Feb 13....I've got knee issues...right knee replaced in may...left knee acl reconstruction...i had 90 days of clean time before surgery...and i felt so so good...i am off all the meds again and unfortunately detoxing again....im 5 days without pain meds. but i know the process now. if i can help. ask me anything..anything...

congratulations on 16 days...sorry you lost your partner....but he/she is smiling down on you today...and sending you love from heaven above...and the great thing about dogs is you can tell them anything..everything and they don't blab ....you've got a friend in bama.
