methadone detox

Hello,
If anyone has any feedback please advise if possible.  I have alwasy dibbled and dabbled with speed but never was addicted and never became dependant upon any drug or drink. 2 years ago I obtained a job in sales driving long distances for work and began eatin roxy's for energy, low and behold a month and a half later I hadn't even noticed that I had been taking them daily, I went out of townt to visit family and it clicked when I woke up the next morning.  I was done.  So I struggled with that for 2 years, trying to detox myself and excuses or not I could never put together more than 3 days and I was back at it, I couldn't sit there in my ****, shaking, cold ,hot, cold , hot, no appittite, feeling like death, and not to mention I have broken my bank acct also. I am sure I am the only one! ha I am a *******, any ways , I decided to try methadone, my present state is off of the roxy's and I can go a day or two, without any dones and then do a half or sometimes I do a half a day, I believe it's more mental than anything, (the daily part) but after the first day with nothing, here she comes with a big bat beating me (metaphorically) and I endulge in the half.  Half of a 10 mg, my question is how bad is compaired to some others, not that it matters just don;t know anyone else to compair to? And how long will it take to detox? and how, if any tips!  Thanks a lot I am desperate, I have had loved ones committ suicide and seen good people go straight down and loose themselves with this ****, I have to much to offer and I am good person, this is the only thing holding me back from being a better person, a better person to help others, and stop being selfish! I was sober for 1 1/2 years in AA and that was the best years of my life, being clear headed and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but once and addict always and addict! I want my life back , can anyone give me some advice!

HI well it no fun getting off this crap it is the worst of the worst to withdrawal from less heroin but heroin dont last as long as methadone for comparison 1 10mg methadone pill equals 10 percs the stuff is powerful so even detoxing off one will make you misrable your best bet is get a pill cutter and cut it down take a little less every dew days im not aloud to discust tapers beyond that
but you get the idea the withdrawal last abot a week or 2 the post withdrawal can last for months it took me 90 days to feel human again but I came off 150mg over 8 1/2 mo b/4 you start tapering go up to walmart and pick up a 3 in one vitamin calcium/magnesium/zinc take 4 in the morning and 4 at dinner tim in a few days this will cut down on the withdrawals normally it takes 3 or 4 days to hit you it has a long 1/2 life when it hits you will know it keep posting for support I broke a 16 1/2yr narcotic habit if I can do it any one can good luck and God bless.........Gnarly
