methadone maintanance doctor?

i have been going to the methadone clinic for 3years now and it is a total inconveniance fighting to get there evryday early so i can be back before my girl has to leave for work. i know doctors provide suboxone for detox but i feel secure on methadone i know i wont use on it  .i feel safe .and it works so im searching for a doctor to maintain me using methadone instead of switching my medication around. are there any doctors or pain clinics i can go to for methadone maintanance other than the clinic? i brought myself down from 110mg to 25 or 30mg

Yes lots right it you just have to find the one that will write it to you. After going 3 yrs you should have take homes and you wouldnt have to fight out daily. What state are you in will message me that info cause they dont like giving out that info on post here...

Just curious,after 3 years,why don't you have take homes? The clinic I went to would start giving you every other day take homes after 3 months as long as your UA's were clean,not saying that you've had any dirty UA's.I'm just curious as to why no take homes? Good luck to you....Kim

I also wanted to add that where I live I know people who are prescribed methadone by their PM doctors for pain but I don't know of anyone who goes to a private doctor and is prescribed methadone as a maintenance drug for addiction.Don't know if it's like that everywhere though....Again,good luck to you...Kim
