methadone or suboxone?

im on day 2 of methadone, been here 4 or 5 times before.  my d.o.c. is oxycodone 10 30mg oxys, 3x per day.  The methadone is working, i originially had back pain, but thinking of switching to the suboxone, Some say that the subx is better than the methadone, i'm scared of trying new things, im just trying to get normal.  Please let me know, and is it alot more expensive?  Last question, what about the depression/dysphoria?, on the methadone my depression is moderate, will the subx cause more or less depression... your opinion is so needed!!!  Thank you Soooooo Much!

They are in the same category if you ask me. Both can be very (extremely) difficult to get off of. I don't know how well sub works for pain, though.

I found the sub to have virtually no pain relieving qualities whatsoever....the methadone does work for chronic pain much better....

If you are going to switch over to sub I would do it sooner then later before you end up having to wean down the methadone to go on sub  .how many mg of metadone are you on now .
