methadone question

methadone question

i have a quick question. anyone who done cold turkey, is it normal for chest pains, back (id say my kidney or liver) isnt hurting as much as yesterday. i just want to make sure im not gonna die or something. been feeling quite unusual lately! is this all normal?

Sorry, I've never CT off methadone BUT, I'm pretty sure chest pains are never "normal" I would say go to the ER if your having chest pains.

If I remember correctly you are through the initial phase of the physical w/ds from the methadone.I think it might be best to schedule a doctors visit,just to be on the safe side.I didn't experience any chest pains when I went c/t.It did take me some time to build up a tolerance to the back pain I have due to sciatica and just everyday aches and pains.Always best to have things like that checked out by a doctor.All the best...Happy Thanksgiving.....Kim

Are you getting enough friendly fluid in your body?  Pretty common to let ourselves get dehydrated during detox and the reulting kidney pain radiates to cause chest discomfort......push water strongly........and monitor your BP X30 minutes ans see what you have --- ----  arm pain or strong SOB means help immediately..............
