methadone should a fnp prescripe

i was on suboxon my doctor given it to me left put me on methadone the doctor that was giving me the methadone left so ive gone threw 2 doctors now a f.p.n is giving me the methadone and i told her im getting it for addiction she say yeah i know but puts pain on the bottle now im being taking off it at 10 mg a week is that to fast to come off it

i was on it for opiates and pain management i was on 90 mg now in 2 weeks im down to 60 mg hes taking me off 1 10 mg a week but i feel its to fast to come off been on methadone for 5 years been on bup. sorry not sure how to spell it before then for addition but yes mostly for addiction

getting to get off drugs they look at an mri taken in 1999 and say theirs nothing wrong with you im like im not getting it for that they says well thats what im treating you for so i says dont you think an mri takin back in 1999 is a long time ago and new one should be done anything could have happened since i get no nope your fine

How are you feeling since the drops?
The higher numbers are ok for dropping faster. Once you hit 30ish have to slow it down. That's where you will start to really feel the drops. So go slower.
Are you eating healthy? Lean protein,
Veggies, fruits. Stay hydrated,
Exercising ? Walking?
Taking vitamins?
Are you in active recovery?
Attending counselng, attending substance abuse support groups, AA, NA, celebrate recovery, smart recovery, church?
Support is important.
