how long will it take for me to get better i came of 60mil to 40mil then skip a day hear and there and only sipped at the bottle when a felt ill  now it 2 weeks on with none and a can't sleep  my legs are realy reastles and ill i have a new girlfriend and she has a child wotz my next step

HI well you off but the withdrawal will be horable getting off the way you dod this is nothing thatr last ac few days it can go on for weeks the only cure is to go back on and slow taper off or deal with the withdrawals methadode has some hang time especilly for 40 mg try out a 3 in 1 vitamin calcium/magnesium//zinc you get it at walmart for 6 bucks a bottle  take 4 in the morning and 4 with diner in a few days this should lighten up your withdrawals  other then that hot baths ibuprofine and exorsize willl all help good luck and God bless.......Gnarly

  Hi, methadone has to be tapered really slow over a long period of time.  40 mil is to high of a dose to stop at, you will probably have bad withdrawals.  Methadone is not something you can just stop, you have to do it the right way.  Hopefully Gnarly will be along soon and he can give you lots of really good advice!  He knows everything about methadone!
