methodone withdrawl(withdrawal) help

i Was on methodone for 4 yrs.at one point they had me up to 135mgs.yr 3 i decided to ween down.i got down to 10mgs for 3 months and as of thurs went from 10 to 2mgs.sunday at noon was my last dose.im hurting but can function.when i was at 80mgs i was arrested for not paying a fine,spent 7days in jail & it was hell.should i expect this to be just as bad is this my mind minumizing whats really instore for me over the next wk? help im scarred and have my 4yr old to care for.i do have help with him but i dont think my bf REALLY understands what this could put me threw.

I don't really know anything about methadone except for what I have read on here. It will probably still be rough but nowhere near as bad since you have tapered down so low.

There's a member here by the name of gnarly1. He's the forum guru when it comes to methadone. He'll be on later on this evening and will see your post. He'll be able to help you out more than what I can. If for some reason he doesn't notice your post I will let him know.

i've seen some of his post. thank you so much for your response & i hope to hear from him soon. tomorrow will be day 3 and i plan on staying with my sister and her older children from fri threw sun for more support & help for my son and i.'m so thankful i have people in my life who understand & who can be of help and support! my heart goes out to those who aren't so blessed,i plan on keeping up with this site even after my recovery.if i can some day lend even a word or two that would even possibly bring one ounce of hope for someone in the future suffering from addiction that would be enough for me.

HI well your in the acute withdrawal stage and you feel like crap this is pritty normal for coming off this stuff if you can get to walmart there is a 3 in one vitamin calcium/magnesium zinc start with 4 in the morning and 4 at dinner time it takes a few days to work but it will cut down on the withdrawals you feel you starting them late but this can last a wile and I feel they will help other then that rent some movies your not going to be sleeping for a wile and dont under estimate how much a hot soak can help also wile at walmart pick up somw whey protein shake mix I recamend this for all who detox it give you the ecential amino acids as wall as extra vitamins and the raw protein all of witch the brain needs to heal it come in a 2lb can for 15 bucks the chocolate flavor is good just mix it with milkfrom her its up to God and time to heal you your going to feel pritty ruff for the next month month 2 is a little better for me it was around 90 days that I finely seen the light dont get discouraged you slowly get better it just takes time if you need someone to talk to thats been there im out here anny time just message me good luck and God bless........Gnarly
