No, you shouldn't have MORE pain but maybe, depending on where you are, the mental agony can be very damaging!

Yes they do make the pain worse... you become so dependant on them that when you quit... you hurt more than you did for the reason you started them in the first place.  My excruciating pain went away after about 4 days of withdrawals... now I don't even have hardly any pain that Advil can't take away. (Lower back problems and arthritis in back and leg).  Take care, Lil.

I could maybe be having withdrawals from the vicodin yet too even with the Darvocettes, its only ben a week since stopping them

Yes you could be, that's why I liked havin' darvs on hand cause when I was quitin something heavier it would take the edge off of the big gun.  The darvs are very weak... and I know some people will argue with me, it makes me feel a little better through the w/d's... wean yourself down from 4 to 3 to 2 to none... I'm sure it will be better than what we went through goin cold turkey.  Then again, for me it took alot of misery to get this far.  If you don't have that experience in your head, you can't think "damn I ain't never doin that again cause I ain't ever gonna go through that ever again" lol hagd sweetie god bless u Lil.
