my bf recovery

my boyfriend is a recovering every drug in the book addict but his drug of choice was meth and it is taking a toll on our relationship being that i have no clue what he is going through seeing how i have never done drugs. i was wondering if anyone can give me advice as to see what he is going through and how to help him trhrough his recovery process. thank you

you said that this guy is addicted to every drug on earth,and you know nothing about what to do!!! Book-IT- unless you want every disease and problem in the book.Its funny how nice women get hooked up with guys like that, and then act Nieve!!!!!!

just be there to support him,is he in rehab now ? Meth is a rough drug .make sure you are taking care of yourself as well.

How long have you been with him?  With a drug like meth, in addition to whatever else he was on, I'm surprised he was able to carry on a relationship with a "clean" person.  I don't think there is any doubt you are having troubles.  Did you come into this relationship while he was on drugs, or before?  There are a lot of questions to be answered before many of us can help you.  What type of recovery program is he is?  Wherever he is at should have resources for the loved ones of the addict so that everyone can adjust.

Mr Detroit, methamphetamine has been depicted as more distructive to-self, and those around them than crack-cocaine. principles before personalities, i would rather not have my daughter, Not!!!!! associate with a person that has a polysubstance-abuse history,and no track record of getting help.The woman Didnt say he was under-going an inpatient re-hab,or this guy was out at a N>A. meeting.Why would you send your family out to live and learn from an individual who has a (History) of bad choices.Take a Goodlook at a hard core methamphetamine addict. There are police pictures of people (Meth Addicts) looking good in one photo,and 6-months later they Are Ravaged by that drug.Also the high Cost of Low-living includes exposure to Hepatitis B,C. and HIV. all through the use of Straws,needles,the spoon used to draw from,and the things desperate addicts do to get a fix,an all inclusive Life of Crime.Those aremy thoughts!! Are you still on the Methamphetamine Side.Understand Son!!!
