Here is my plam. I got clonidine now and will somehow get valium.I am at 10 miligrams of methadone and have been for almost 1 month coming off 20 miligrams.

All of October I am planning 5 miligrams a day then nov 1 jummping off using clonidine and valium.Hubby is prepared to get me warm blankets and anything I need.

I am  hoping this will work for me. RUthie

Ga Guy wereyou on  methadone?? Rayy yes my son knows.It started because of chronic pain.I am doing this regardless of what others with chronic pain choose to do.;

It may be beneficial to get the clonidine in your system before the last dose. My doctor told me to start it 72 hours before my last dose. Just a suggestion. BTW usual dosages are .1mg 3 times per day.

started out with a knee injury when i was forteen with vicodin the first five years i increased very slwoly by 19 i was taking 15  750 vicodin twice a day then i swsitched to as many perc tens as i could afford a day till i was 22 and then it turned into the OC's which i ended up taking 300 mgs 3 times a day for like 2 years or so and then came the morphine and thats when i deicided to quit about a month after i started taking morphine been clean almost 50 days or so

Does your son know?  If anyone can help you it will be him. and dont htink he wont understand he will understand more then anyone. We all have friends or had friends that were addicted or are addicted or passed on cause of there addiction. exspecially in this day and age painkillers are the hot stuff nower days atleast they are hear in new york.

yeh i used xanax during the first week or so and it helped more then anything.i think the valium will work just as good.  i never tapered but from what i hear from you it osunds like its workin well. so yeh i think its good plan. but im not a doctor or an conselour all i know is hwat i know from personal expierience of using for almost ten years
