what drugs would show up as opiates on drug test will trazadone

Hi~  Trazodone is an antidepressant...it may show up depending on what kind of test is performed. It is not an opiate.

Oh dear...no,it's not the trazodone.  When did she last take any Sub?  What caused you to drug test?  Any funny behaviours?

she last took subs a week ago saturday but the doctor said they had to test for that and it wouldnt show up at her work

are the home tests pretty accurate

Yes...the doctor is correct so no worries there...Did she take the Tyl.3?   Might be wise to get it out of the house if you don't want to flush it...also check receipts,debit card etc...maybe she got something on her own.    Most importantly,be supportive of her and reassure her that she can tell you the truth.  As addicts,we lie,cheat,steal,and manipulate.  We keep secrets.   She needs a recovery program. Is she going to any meetings,therapy etc...?

I can't speak to home drug tests;I've never used one.  I DO know that home pregnancy tests are VERY accurate.  (Big Smile)

If the same manufacturer is making the drug tests...I would trust it but still get a follow up as with a preg. test.

I think if an Opiate test reads true, you immediately need to ask why you used the opiate test ??

Its hard but you felt the need to test her, then when its positive, you try to find another answer..  That is totally normal behavior, but as an outsider, the obvious answer might be that she took some drugs..  

As Vicky said, its nothing to get mad about.. it means she needs more support, but not enabling..  the drugs have to go ..

I am not trying to be upsetting, I am just telling you one addicts gut feeling.
