ner here-thanks for the help

I'm new here because I have been taking oxycodone due to knee surgery. I am taking 3--15 mg a day, that's what I thought but my husband corrected me on that because after my last surgery the dr. changed it to 30mg a day and told me to break it in half. Green or blue pills--I wasn't paying much attention becuase I was trying to get mobile again and off the crutches.

I'm walking on my own and off all other medicine. The dr. weened me off the prednisone but never said anything about the oxycodone other than I shouldn't need it anymore. I took my last one yesterday morning and my husband and I decided to only pick up the refill if I have severe problems.

You should be fine....does not sound like u were adddicted to them...good thing to stop now if u no longer need them for pain...as it is something that can happen with prolonged use..glad ur knee is better!

I have already finished all my therapy and I'm walking without a cane and driving again. I don't have pain like I did just a little stiffness. I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to do the simple things in life again.

I was hoping to find someone else that had a similar problem with surgery to see what they did and what their dr. had prescribed for them. From what I have read and people have posted to me it sounds like I will have some wd's stopping.
