neurontin substitutes

I am a Viet Nam vet and have agent orange disease. I was notified by my provider it will no longer fill prescriptions for neurontin. I presently take 2,400 mg a day. Is there an acceptable substitute(s) for this medication.
Thanks for your help.

2400mg daily is a high amount from research I did on that drug.Above what the standard max daily amount one gets raised to over a period of time. Which means to me I believe it is a drug that should be down dosed if parting company with it..I was prescribed that for a short spell except it did not agree with me and did not take it more than a couple weeks.

I suggest you search the subject on google..There are possible withdrawals you could experience. I fail to believe your provider would cut you off on an amount that high..Do some research..

Maybe you got connected to the wrong forum.  This is for drug abuse/addiction.  If you have a question about that there are many people here that would be happy to help you.

I am sorry to hear about your disease. But we do not give out that kind of advice here. I can't believe your provider just cut you off like that. Can you talk to your dr about this?
Good luck
