I've been on 10 mg norco for 8 months now...only one at night. Is it ok to cold turkey or should I taper?

Thanks for you response...I did talk to my doctor... He told me either way would be fine. However, I do have other issues going on here. I was having really bad menopause symptoms, anxiety, nausea, loss of appetite and insomnia. So the doc put me on 10 mg prozac about 16 days ago... And then ambien for sleep. He told me the start up of prozac does this..gets worse before better. Then regarding the norco...I realized I was taking it on an empty stomach at night... Which can make you nauseating. So I decided I want off of it...I am tapering the doc though that would be a good idea. Anyway... I'm really sick...can't function. Lots going on! I need encouragement!

Stopping cold turkey is generally okay unless you have other health issues.  And it's usually best to talk to your doctor about things.  I would think, though, that only taking one pill a day and at a low dose you may have no symptoms.  If you do I would think they would be very mild and manageable.

were you prescribed them by your doctor??  you should double check with him.  I have done it myself before with no problems and no withdrawals, but everyone is so different that it is always best to check with them first.
