norco withdrawel and weird symptoms

I'm trying to get off of norco. I've been using it regularly for 3 years and up to 4 or 5 maybe 6 now a day. I don't have any withdrawel symptoms has people mention, mine are starting in the evening or if I sit for any length of time I get a sever case of restless leg syndrom but I call it restless body syndrom. I'm usually ok during the day unless I'm riding in a car and sitting for along time. I tried not taking any last night but at 3am broke down and startied taking a half at a time and finally after 4 totally got 3 and 1/2 hours sleep. I just couldn't do it. My leg started in at 7pm when my daughter came over and I sat and visited with her. I had to stand up while she was here and couldn't sit down after. The jerking of my legs and arms started at 7 and went all night. I take baths during the night which usually helps lately no. Does anyone have these symptoms. I can't sit in a show or restaurant for a period of time anymore without having to get up take a norco and walk it off. I don't get sick or have the other syptoms people discribe so don't know exacly whats happening. Please write and let me know if anyone feels this way.

Thank you for all your imput, I will try it all. I already do the hot tub soaks in epsom salt and I have to walk when this hits but its hard cause it hits at night and walking outside is out of the question so I walk all around the house, do leg exercise on the floor but like last night was so tired at 3pm not being able to lay down or sit I just starting taking it again and finally at 4am got a couple hours sleep. My husband is patient and I try not to disturb him but its hard not even being able to sit in a restaurant for any length of time or the show, I have to take the norco and walk till it stops. Last night I didnt think it would stop at all even with 4 pills which I broke down and took 1/2 at a time over a period of the night I still had the jerking bad. I do have anemia and the Dr. are trying to find out whats causing it. Been taking alot of iron for 2 weeks and blood count not improving. I have some test scheduled for end of july, upper and lower endoscopy, just don't know if the norco is the cause of my recent symptoms or not , the Dr. doesn't seem to know either

its called Hyland's Restful Legs, you can get it at Walmart, Walgreens, etc. It works really well and not very expensive. Also, magnesium and potassium supplements will help as will eating foods high in potassium (bananas, advocados, melon, nuts, etc.) and soaking in a bath with epsom salt (contains magnesium). If these are the only symptoms you are having them you are lucky. Someone also mentioned swinging, you know, going to the park and getting on the swings, swing high and fast and long as you can, like a little kid! Swimming also feels great! Hope this helps.

What you're describing sounds like pretty classic w/d, from what I've been reading. If you scan through some of the threads, you can read about people that have had a similar symptom. People seem to recommend something with an H- Hylin? Hylan? Sorry, I can't recall - but if you go through threads, you'll find it. It seems to have helped a lot of people.

I had something similar - not quite RLS, I don't think. But I was twitchy, and couldn't sit still. It's awful. Walking helps - hard exercise helped more.
