note on Facebook

Pleaded help there was a like message on my face book. How did this happen as my friends and family don't no. X

I was on the general health forum a while back and I hit the "like" button without realizing it. Imagine my discomfort when I got a phonecall asking me why I posted about a vaginal infection to my fb page!!  Just stear clear of icons!!

Sorry i have calmed. If no one else has has anything on f b. Now reading messages by.accident i may of clicked like. I have a touch screen phone. If no one else noticed anything on f b. Then i caused concern for no reason. Sorry sorry x

I just checked my fb for the first time in months and did not see anything
whhheeewww!!!  lol    thanks viki  I only go on here on my lappy  and I never click like on anything...so   I guess not liking anything has finally produced a positive result.

Mistakenly done or not the medhelp moderators need to REMOVE that icon.  It's too easy to make a mistake a click on something.

We're supposed to be protected here.  Not cool.  NOT cool at all.

I agree  this could sause a myriad of problems for people,not just a family member finding out but who knows what else.loss of job could be a real possibility here.This should be removed

The moderator's comment is exactly the reason why I changed my profile information. If you hold the mouse over someone's screen name it gives some of that info. I took off my hometown. I didn't want anyone putting two and two together. FB has gotten outa hand with less and less user control over much anymore. Even if it doesn't say LIKE still be carefull of the thumbs up symbol. That too is a link to FB.

This scares my to death. I came hear to be able to not just get good information but also be able to vent and not feel judged.

i have been thinking about doing that as well..and now after reading this thread again i have taken off some info as well...because not only friends or members of medhelp can see it.....every and anyone who passes along this forum can view your profile.
