Does being addicted to percocets cause memory loss?

I took perc's along with vicodin for years and I can tell you from my experience that yes, it does cause memory loss as well as confusion. I have been clean 173 days and still cannot rememberer certain events that happened in my life. I am hoping with time I will remember them.

Hey there...my prob was never perc's, more like vicodin/lortab..u know. And I seriously can't remember abt 3-4 yrs worth of stuff. I forgot my sister had her baby, my mom had a surgery I can't remember. So, I'm gonna say "yes" to ur question. I suffer from a short term memory loss due to the heavy amount of pills I've used over the years...so yes...using pills could cause problems with ur memory...It took me getting clean to realize I had a short term memory......R u Starting to see problems with ur memory ?
