overactive thyroid

One of the many times I was in the ER recently after detox having an axiety attack, they ran my blood work. I was passed out at the time because after giving me some **** called zyprexa they stuck me with an IV and 2 mgs of ativan. They told my bf my blood test showed my thyroid level was just way too high and thats probably what caused the attack. I dont know much about thyroid levels and the like but thought maybe you guys might. Any ideas? Was he full of **** (this was a doctor who once told me he couldnt see if I had a bladder infection b/c there was SPERM in my urine) so hard to tell with him...

This very well could be the root of allot of your problems!  I found out that after I had my little girl I have an underactive thyroid!  I felt the oppsite way from you, very tired, lethargic!  A hyperactive thyroid will make you feel like you have so much energy, you just don't know what do to with it, which may cause you to have anxiety attacks!  I take synthriod now, and will have to take it for the rest of my life.  It balances out my thryoid levels and makes me feel somewhat normal, whatever that is, lol!  My hypoactive thryiod makes me gain weight when I don't take my medicine, but with your thryoid it will make you lose weight!  I would listen to your Dr and maybe get some more blood work done just to make sure.  If it is still high, you definitly need to be on synthroid!  It will help you so much!
