oxy and suboxen withdrawal

Question

I was on 10/325 percocet for the last two 2 yrs. I would finish my prescription in two weeks then I would buy oxy 80 mg I bought suboxen from a friend when I wanted to stop. I could not take it anymore.. I did suboxen for 1 month and felt great. 8 mg a day. I ran out on mon. I am in spain for a business trip for six weeks and out of suboxen. I went to the hospital here in spain and just told them I was havin panic attacks. They gave me 15 xanax 1mg for the day and ambien to sleep. I am in alot of pain. how long will this last, and will the xanax help? please repond quickly im missing three days of work already here in spain. I return to the states in oct 17. PLEASE HELP!

Can't you just go to this spanish hospital and tell the dr the truth that you r withdrawing from this drug or you have run out of this drug and you withdrawals?

The worst thing you are experiencing right now is FEAR  - --- try hard to relax - you still have the weekend to make it through and your fear may not be as bad as you are expecting ----- what else can you do? Just take a couple of the Xanax and try to chill.  I don't see that you have many other options and oh yeah, you may try a little prayer -- I am serious.    All the best.

did you go through this.  I am in spain with no medical attention.  I was on percs 10/325 about twenty a day and about 3 oxy 80 a day.  One month ago I stopped and did suboxen.  This job is very very important. you think alieve will do it?

how long will i go throught the pain.  I hhave work on Mon.  I also have prescribed 15 1mg xanax for panic attacks for when I came to Spain.  This is my first time prescribed to them.  ONly once at that... do you think that will help.should I make plans to go home. I weined down so this wouldnt happen.  This means the world to me.  Im not throwing up or going to the bathroom.  Does that mean it isnt that bad? just incredibly muscle sores and adjetated.

your problably in a lil pain since youve been taking 8mg daily. your not going to believe this, but go get some alieve. after starting sub only a few days into it, i had some aches and pain, took alieve and it worked, now and then when i need it i bang an alieve. after wasting thousands i figured that out. gluck

there is a blood pressure med called colonadine  that can help with alot of the wd  but you are going to have to go to the doctor

I would but I do not have my own insurance and my boss has to come with me to translate.  There is a no drug policy at work.  He even came to the er with me.  I go back to work on Mon do you think I will be fine?  Or is there anything I could do in the meantime to help me feel better?

I think you need to go to a MD or walkin clinic and tell them you are in opiate WD. Other than an opiate,suboxone, you are not gonna feel well for alittle while despite the xanax!! WD ***** and that was too much suboxone to just stop. GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR.

What are the best things to do at this point? IM in spain for 5 more weeks and cant miss anymor work.  The last week I was taking a half a day of sub.  I there anything I can take or do to make this bearable to go to work?

Suboxone withdrawal is not as harsh but it lasts allot longer.If you ran out at taking 8mg, you are probably going to have a very hard time.You are supposed to wean off of them, getting down to 1/2 a miiligram or so before you quit- so you may have allot of trouble.
 The xanax will do nothing except calm you a little, and I have heard even with Ambien- you may not sleep.
 I wish I had better news, but I have tried many methods and nothing worked for me.I entered Suboxone treatment a year ago, it was the only thing that truly helped.
