oxycontin addiction

My friend was in a bad accident and suffered with some serious injuries.  She was prescribed to Oxycontin for her pain.  I believe she is addicted to the Oxy's.  I was wondering what some of her symptoms would be if she was indeed addicted?

hey there .. if you guys are really good friends, then i would ask her ... the only way i founnd out my best friend was smoking crack was by asking her .. she wanted desperately to tell me but she wz so afraid i was going to judge her.  Even though i had told her a million times i would never do that, i'm not that type of person ... i asked her, she told me - which wz a huge releif to her .. she finally went to rehab and hasn't smoked crack in almost a year! i am very proud of her .. she also has her pill abuse under control and is taking suboxone ..  if your friend gets defensive and upset, then i would say she's probably abusing them, but maybe in the long run she'll realize what a really good friend she does have in you ... good luck to you both ... keep us posted on what happens w/her ... peace!

Okay. Ive been there and done that. Your gonna look for nose bleeds if shes snorting it. Also check her eye lids, if her eye lids anr puffy and red then shes abusing them, If she has severe mood change

If she is running out of pills before her prescption is up.  If she is snorting the Oxycontin she is on her way to a nasty addiction.  If you ask her about her pills and she gets defensive with you these are some sighns of addiction
