A couple more things that work good.....soaking your body in a bath w/epsom salts (even sell some with spearmint added and anything "mint" is so soothing) or they sell magnesium flakes at the health food store.  Your body will just soak up that magnesium.  They both help!

Emergen-C packets......come in all different flavors.....have vit C, B vitamins, essential minerals and electrolytes in them.  You can buy a box with 30 packets in it I think and each day (or even 2x/day) you empty the packet in a little glass and add water....it fizzes and you drink it up.  Because it is liquid, the nutrients and electrolytes IMMEDIATELY go in at a cellular level.  You don't have to depend on digestion or enzymes to break it down and be used by your body.  They are about $10/box I think and our Walmarts and Kroeger stores sell them where I live.  I drank them even before I became addicted to hydros.  They are portable too, so you can stick them in your purse or pocket and take them with you!
Just wanted to add a few tid bits.....hang in there...YOU ARE DOING GREAT!!!

That's great Patty! As Pat said keep up on the fluids! It's so important to stay hydrated! If you can get some Gatorade and some Ensures or Boosts! Lots of protein and vitamins in them! You are doing great, and I'm hoping you will feel better very soon! Keep posting! We are here for you!

I'm so glad you posted.  Make sure you get lots of fluids into you.  You don't want to become dehydrated.  It will make you feel so sick.
Please keep us updated.
Hope you get a great night's sleep.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I finally was able to keep soup and crackers down. Yeah! These little feats seem great right now. Thank everyone for your encouragement. It does help. Off now to take a hot shower before bed. Love to all

I agree with Sonrissa.  I hope your not dehydrated.  Start sipping some fluids and if you can't keep them down, you may need to go to the ER.
You should be feeling better by now so I am concerned.
Are you still vomiting?  That's not good.

Try some soups, broth, crackers and such, things that are easy on the stomach! Also, something like Ensure or Boosts will help with vitamins and nutrition! Gatorade will also help with hydration! Have you taken any Immodium? For me, that worked wonders with any stomach/bathroom issues, as well as other withdrawal symptoms! If nothing else see if you can take some Immodium!

Take care Patty! I hope you feel better soon! We are here with support for you! Bottom line is: Don't Give Up! You can get through this!

Hi Patty, and welcome! You should be getting through the worst of it and hopefully will start feeling better soon! Are you taking any vitamins/supplements? Make sure you are staying very well hydrated and are eating to keep up your strength! Mild exercise, like walks outside really do help with the lack of energy!

I wish you the best, and please keep posting for advice and support!

It gets easier each day. Start taking vitamins like Magnesium, Omega 3's and B12. They help with your energy level. Lots of rest, water, gatorade and foods high in protein.
Take hot (and I mean HOT) showers to help you with the tremors. It would help me sleep for about 2 hours straight. Best of luck to you.
