oxycotin

I've been taking oxy for about 7 years I started taking it because i had leg cramps and the doctor thought i had fibro well the pain in now though out my whole body i have read some comments on here about oxy withdrawals I'm in pain even while i'm on the medicine when i start coming off the pain is unbareable my question is does anyone think the med is causeing my pain if i didn't take oxy would my pain be less

I would look into getting in to see a pain management center.  It could just be that your body has such a tolerance to oxy that it is no longer working.  You truly need to see a professional about that.  Taking more oxy to try and control that pain is a death spiral.  Don't mess with it.  I understand chronic pain, as I have it as well.  They might be able to prescribe something different and help you manage it.  Oxy withdrawal is no fun.  But, once you are free of it,  you will feel better.  For me anyways, I think the anxiety became what I thought was pain.  Just my two cents worth.  God Bless, Tom
