Yeah it is different for everyone and the symptoms will depend on the dosage and the length of time the person in question has been taking them.   I've been doing them for four years now and just before I got help I was taking 8-10 80mg oxy's per day, but I was so used to it most people couldn't tell I was taking them.

I would say check the money situation look unaccounted for money that would be the sure fire way to see if there is a problem, whether it's oxy's, pot, or crack you should be able to notice by watching the bank closely.

Have you tried talking to him or asking him?

ld_complex came up with some AWESOME ones.

The energy one is definitely a major sign- however, with my use, I was ok with tackling things that required energy- but even MORE ok with sitting at the computer all day (high) and not accomplishing a thing.

I never did nod out- the nodding out is definitely a matter of quantity. If he is taking a big dose, he will most definitely nod out.

ITCHING is another one.. i know I talk alot when I'm high, too.

Unaccounted for money is a major sign. If he is addicted, I wouldn't be surprised if there is $1000 a month that is going unaccounted for- give or take.

well I'm an oxy addict currently in the recovery process.   Symptoms will be different for everyone.

~If I am up moving around I am full of energy and feel like there is nothing I can't tackle.

~If I stop moving around though I tend to nod off and if I'm really loaded I feel like I have    to fight to keep my eyes from going crossed.

~Just about anybody that takes them is going to itch.  Usually their scalp or their nose but anywhere in general.

~ At first I was unable to sleep well at nights.  I woke up almost every hour through out the whole night.

~I tend to sweat more when I am taking them. and really sweat when I "DT" off of them

~my sex drive increased, but was difficult to achieve orgasm unless we went at it for 4-5 hours.

~mood swings like crazy. I get angry over little trivial things, like talking to me while I duck out (nod off)

~unaccounted for money...  The stuff ain't cheap I promise you that.

Well I can't think of anymore off the top of my head.  Good luck with it and I hope for your sake and his that if he is just "testing the waters" that he gets out of the pool before he is in over his head.

Is he seemingly carefree about things? Does he talk alot?

Does he seem really relaxed, and at peace..constantly? Does he sleep alot? Does he eat alot of sweets, and have pinpoint-pupils?

Has he had a noticeable decrease or increase in sex drive, appetite, or taken on any "lazy" hobby that includes sitting around?

Is he all of a sudden ok with being bored? These are some things you can look for.
