oxys

I have been taking fifteen mg oxycodone pills for about two weeks. On a few days out of the past two weeks I did 30mgs. I was clean for two months and just recently started doing them again. I have only been taking 15mg tablets daily. Today I have decided to stop and not dig myself in the same awful situation I just got out of. Should I expect the same terrible wd symptoms? I don't ever plan on doing these again because I moved from where I was able to have easy access to them. Does anyone have experience in withdrawing off this amount of oxycodone?

Lortabs were my DOC.. but I can tell you .. I quit went through the w/d got better and boom... fell off the wagon so to speak.. did them again for a couple weeks and am now on day 5 again... I did have a few of the symptoms but not as severe since I didn't go overboard and stopped after a shorter period of time this time around.. but I did still have some of the symptoms.. got up got back on the wagon and am riding it now ...lol... but if you went back.. you need to find out what is gonna work for you to stay away from them.. if you really feel compelled to quit.. you obviously .. like me.. need to do something differently this time

like what wd symptoms did you have? Were you able to go about your life and not be laid out for almost two weeks like I was the first time I quit?

You are going to experience some minor w/d. Everyone is different and it is hard to speculate on how you are going to feel. Dont try to worry about what other people felt or how long because every body is different. Just prepare for the next few days to feel like ****, take your vitamins etc. Go get some aftercare like counseling or NA that type of thing cause you obviously need it just like the rest of us.

Ugg...oxy contin ruined me pretty much. Financially physically and emotionally. I was in remission and started again doing 20-40mg(for a maybe 2 mnths) as opposed to 80 or so... so I didn't have the same w drawls. Of course my initial detox was from an 8 yr addiction so that one topped he cake.
