peeing alot???

Another question, in addition to my immodium question down below, is: does anyone find that when they begin to detox, you have to pee ALL the time?  I try to drink alot of water and gaterade etc.. to flush myself out and keep hydrated but even if I take a sip, I have to pee every five min. What can help with that? I dont mind so much during the day but at night its annoying. i always have trouble sleeping and once i fall asleep Im constantly awakened by the constant need to pee. all night!

I'm having the same problem at night every hour on the hour. I'm on day 16 of being clean. I was hoping in time it would decrease. It started as i began my taper and got worse after I quit. One other lady said she had it for 2 weeks and it went away. She was around my age. I can't live like this so I'm going to have some tests run. I'm 55 so it could be my age and maybe the opiates were masking the problem. Either way its no fun and I feel your pain! I did talk to my pharmacist when it started he did say some people do have this problem. Good luck!

I had the same problem. I started taking vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and brewers yeast. Potassium is a good one too. It helped me, didn't cure it, but made it better. Good luck, hope you get some sleep soon.
