percs and vics, how to stop with all my dental problems

Ive been taking 10-15 percs or vics everyday for years. I really wanna quit but I have extensive dental problems which I dont have the 10 thousand dollars to fix. The pain is so bad that I feel like I cant quit the pills. Im going to kill myself cuz my liver is gonna give out on me. What the hell do I do? There is no help out there for people with dental problems except pulling them out. I am 33, I cant be toothless, I am a waitress, I wont be able to work anymore. I dont go anywhere or do anything with my kids cuz Im so embarrased the way I look. I just wanna die!

I am sorry you are going thru this as dental pain is not fun.  Have you sat down with your dentist and had a heart to heart talk with him??  That is alot of pills to be taking a day.  Once i stopped the pills i didnt have near the pain i did while i was on them.  Motrin really does work now........I wish you the best      sara

YOur dentist has been prescribing you that many pills for that long??? Wow, you must really have problems with your teeth. I have bad teeth too and need extensive dental work, but won't take the pain meds because I am in recovery. I have delayed my going to the dentist because of that and my teeth are bad.

Have you told your dentist you are now addicted and want off? Maybe there is something non-narcotic he can give you to help you with your pain. Mortin 800 doesn't work? Most dentist's tell you to take motrin...
