phenegran with codeine. did i just set myself back

ok been clean 9 days now and bee feelin pretty good and happy with life. last night was having trouble sleeping and was having stomach cramps. so i took 2 tablespoons of phenegran. well i just got off of phone with wife and told her i took some and she said it had codiene in it. sure nuff it does. since i am a addict to percocets and oxycontin will this set me back. its got me worried and makin my day harder just knowing that. but until she told me i was fine. i just dont want to have to go back through all this crapola all over again

If you are talking about the Phenergan (Promethazine is the generic), there is no codeine in it.  It's an anahistamine.  If you have some type of cold syrup that was prescribed to you, it probably would have codeine mixed in with other ingredients.  Even so, it shouldn't set you back any as long as you only took the reccomended dose.

Here's a list of the ingredient for the phenergan syrup in case you are interested.

Syrup: Each teaspoon (5 ml) of Phenergan Syrup Plain contains 6.25 mg promethazine hydrochloride in a flavored syrup base with a pH between 4.7 and 5.2. Alcohol 7%. The inactive ingredients present are artificial and natural flavors, citric acid, D&C Red 33, D&C Yellow 10, FD&C Blue 1, FD&C Yellow 6, glycerin, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sodium propionate, water, and other ingredients.

Each teaspoon (5 ml) of Phenergan Syrup Fortis contains 25 mg promethazine hydrochloride in a flavored syrup base with a pH between 5.0 and 5.5. Alcohol 1.5%. The inactive ingredients present are artificial and natural flavors, citric acid, saccharin sodium, sodium benzoate, sodium propionate, water, and other ingredients.
