I not for the feeling is for the pain, after my surgury 3 months I still have a lot of pain and I'm hoping that when I start therapy next week i will feel better but if I don't take the medication I can't move in the mornings to go to work I'm all stiff when I get up.

Categorize your priorities and than focus on one at a time.  Why do you want the norco? Mainly for your pain or mainly to maintain a feeling of well being and normalicy?

Are you looking for rehabilitation from norco or alterior pain management options? Perhaps both?

I had a cervical fusion as well...several years ago...I do remember the pain like when i would get up or like bend my head back...it did not last but a few months then it was alot of weakness and tightness...I did not abuse narcotics back then and it just did not occur to me to take them for very long..i have had this problem for over 20 years..unfortunately the fusion did not help...it was later that i started abusing them mostly for energy...took a long time for me to feel physically dependent on them tho...I think chronic fatigue may go with chronic pain...i work full time as a nurse...anyway...it is not a good idea for some to continue them long term especially if you are already feeling physically dependent on them...everyone is different..can you talk to your doctor about alternatives for pain?  Have you had any addiction problems in the past?
