pills methadone and suboxine

Hi my  name is April and I am new to this site!  I have been addicted to pain pills for over 6 years and I want to get off of them.... again.  I was in a methadone clinic for 7 months and it was working great for  me but i simply couldn't afford to continue going when my boyfriend got layed off work.  Since I stopped going to the clinic I have fallen right back into my old habits, and they are getting worse.  I have spent days looking for a private doctor in Indianapolis that will actually give a prescription of methadone and I'm not having any luck.  Does anybody know how I can find a doctor that will help me? All I can find is doctors for suboxine, but I don't know if I want to try that. Does suboxine make you feel the same way the methadone does?  I didn't get high off it, but I felt normal again, and I didn't need my drugs to get out of bed everyday.  I just want to get my life back in control....

PLEASE HELP

Yes sub works very similar,BUT,it is more costly. As I understand it, about 4 times as much.I am tapering off meth at my clinic, and the doctor offered me sub.I told him I will stick to the meth, till I taper right off.WELCOME to our forum, you will get some info here April. Take a look in the health pages  at the top of this page on the right, you will find info on sub.Good luck to ya,drop me a note if ya want.                              Karl
