Jen, all of us have felt this way, but the more you say no. the stronger you become. If someone breaks down and uses. They always feel rotten about it and themselves.
Jen, you don't need to use. You have fought hard to be clean. Now is the time to dig deep and continue that promise you made to yourself.

Stay away from  the pills you need to get threw this clean . Your mom needs you to get threw this clean as well. Do you have a sponser or anyone close by from aa that you can talk too.Fight the craving. I know all about wanting to numb yourself from pain and feelings .Let yourself get threw this without drugs it ok .You can do it :)

did you fall down and bump your head? what could possibly be so enticing about those pills.?

is it that awesome rollercoaster ride to hell. you know the one where you have to keep counting those pills over and over all day and hoping you don't run out , or trying to figure out where you will get more, or how to fund it.  or maybe it's when you are not getting any results and have to eat more and more, knowing your tolerance is getting higher and higher.
i know, it must be the totally awesome feelings of withdrawl. sooooo cold and still sweating, shaky and achy all over, no ambition, upset stomache, ohhh don't forget all that quality time in the bathroom either - now that is fun!

hey is it really worth just a little time of blissful captivity again???


this would be a good time to warn Cathy about the hell surrounding pain pills and to be so very careful.
this will pass and you will be feeling great about it. better than the pill will make you feel. you'll see.

Hey when it is all over and you are not struggling anymore, she will be so proud of you. We all understand how difficult it is and one day she will too. just be honest and try to make her understand what you are going through. she is your mom and loves you.

no she wont jen she will be proud that you reached out for help...stay strong hon rem what i went though  what 10 days ago and u were going to kick my butt...now i will have to kick urs if u do anything stupid...think how it would hurt ur mom too she would feel so guilty for the surgary and having the pills around you..You have worked so hard i know you can do this hon..your strong like your mommy!!!

Wanted to let everybody know I was IM'ng w/Jen on yahoo til her sponsor got there... she is there now and like Jen said above staying w/her til she goes to sleep.

Jen told me she couldn't wait to talk to me in the morning to tell me how she made it through the night!

So let's continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers tonight....I am confident she will make it! She is strong like her Mother!

There is a Demon in that little bottle of pills wanting to drag you back to Hell. DON'T let it happen. Your life is worth so much more and I am pulling for you. Just look at this post and all the people who have never laid eyes on you but still care dearly about your recovery. Where else are you going to find that kind of compassion?
