I know this sounds horrible, but make an appointment with the dentist and have it pulled asap.  Screw the root canals and other ways.  I have had several teeth pulled for the very same thing and I am so glad I did it!!  I have gotten 4 crowns and a couple of implants and now my teeth give me no trouble at all!!

Some times when my tooth hurts reall bad I'll purposely smash my toe against something REAL, REAL hard and see if I forget about my tooth pain.  Either that or......... nevermind.......  May not work for you but hey.... to each his own right?   :)  Best of luck with the tooth.

Thank you so much for resonding.I have had bad teeth since I was really small. My childhood dentist said I have a very acidic mouth. It basically eats the enamal away from your teeth. My oldest daughter has it too.She is only 6.I have no health insurance so the dentist is out of the question at holiday time.I went to the ER and there is some kind of new law or somthing because they looked at it,said it was abcess, and said if I dont have 250.00$ to go home,so I did. They said if it is not life thearting and you didnt have insurance that you have to pay a co pay???What kind of stuff is that??This morning I have tried to find some kind of urgent care that is open.....no luck....The motrin did actually help.I also went to my home remides site and found somthing that said put tea tree oil.I just happen to have that here because I am a believer in that stuff. That really worked ok too. Also I have been smothering  it in ambesol.Anyway thank you guys for your advice. It was very helpful!!!

first of all just call a pharmacist and ask if its okay that you take motrin, it does help, but woulnt want it to interfere with your norco, anyway here is a home remedy that has worked for me and my daughter, some of you may laugh, but dont knock it till you try it. Get some icecubes and and rub your hands together with the ice in between, it somehow deadens the nerves, my husband suggested it when i was having one of my terrible toothaches, he read it in a home remedy book.  best of luck!

I'm soo sorry that your in pain!! If its an absess then you really do need to go to the ER and get some antibiotics. In the meantime, the things that work for me, (cause I have had them before,) is you can get a regular goodies powder and pour it onto the tooth that hurts and let it set on it for awhile before you wash it down. It really does take the pain away almost instantly, but it has to be the regular goodies. The other is, there is some stuff in the store that you can get, Walmart, Kmart, etc.. in the tooth isle where the anbesol is and stuff. Its called,..Kanka, and it is in a little liquid bottle. That stuff really works also.  These things are just a temporary fix so you really do need to get some antibiotics to get rid of the infection, but it should help!:) Hope you feel better soon:)

I so feel for you, tooth pain is horrible. Do you have an absess tooth?  Can you get any antibiotics ?
I was a dental asst. for 10 yrs.  Most likely infection is causing the pain. Write me back , let me know what is happening with your teeth.  Mary

Yes you may!!! and thats the best thing to take for tooth pain!

Motrin is an anti inflamatory. Norco as you know is a medicine that basically is tylenol and hydrocodone(block your ability to feel the pain being generated from your brain)

I take Vic ES and Motrin 800mg everyday-prescribed by doc. I takes the motrin 800mg four times a day and vics 5-6 times a day. That may not be the same for you ask your doc exactly how much daily YOU can take. I know a few doses of 600-800mmg motrim will not hurt you , but try to ask a doc on call tomorrow or call any urgent care they will tell you how much.

Hope your tooth gets better!!!
