pregnant and scared

I was using roxy 30s for about 8 months. I found out I was pregnant when i was about 8-9 weeks and completely quit by the 14th week. I am now 20 weeks. It really scared some sense into me im never touching another pill again. I dont want my baby to withdrawl. I have not told my doctor I was using. cps has a really bad reputation where I live and im afraid they will take my baby if I do. So far everything is healthy and going great. But I am scared if they do a meconium or placenta test they will take my baby which I know now that they will probably do. I live in a bad pill area  im so scared what should I do? I know i should tell my doctor but i dont want them to take my baby. Has anybody gone through this?

It's simple. Get off and ask dr for help. No dr will hurt you if you're being honest. These threads are very sensitive. Do a search for others like this to get a sense for what's going on.

First off, congratulations on getting off the pills! I would definitely let the doctor know that you were using and let him know when the last time you used.  CPS did get involved with me and I can tell you that if you quit right now, they will not take your baby. I was so scared also and I was scared to even go to the doctor appointments but it's such a relief after you tell the doctor so that they can run test and make sure your baby is healthy. Being honest with them is the BEST thing to do because this has to do with your baby. It may be scary and stressful but as long as your off of everything like you say you are, there is no reason to not tell your doctor.

First and formost go to the medicade office. If u r pregnant they will pay for insurance and the gyno then ask about the Methadone clinic and they  will help and u will not get in trouble it is not illegal. If u withdraw without anything u could have a miscarrige. Please be careful. Prayers.

I think the worst is "being scared!" don't let that hold u back from doing the right thing.. I think by being honest with your doctor you would have less to worry about than if you don't and he's surprised at the delivery.. Secrets will keep you sick!

Hey sweetie, CONGRATULATIONS on quitting for YOU & THE BABY! Be completely honest with your doctor! You aren't using anymore. It's much better in the end if your doctor knows everything..
Were the pills prescribed to you?

Hey lovely lady, you have come to the right place.
Are you saying your completely clean, if so well done !!!
Yes, be honest with your doctor, your not using now and if they gave you regular tests for drugs, they will see your not using anymore. You may still have traces, i believe for up to 3 months of quitting, but regular testing will see the numbers detected going down.
Good luck. Ask us questions anytime, we have had heaps of pregnant woman come on here regulary and ask the same questions.
Dont hide the truth, it could come back to bite you.
Well done : )
