prescip. addiction

I have been on lorazapam for quite some time and my doctor is wanting me to wean myself off of it,but I expereience withdrawl symptoms-nausea,insomnia,panic feeling,sweating etc. I also take clonazapam,prometrium,pristiq-(anti-dpress.). IIf I take the anxiety meds. during the day then I am tired!! I was put on these because I have panic attacks. I need some advise!!!

Depending on how much you are taking and how long.....there are so many ways to deal with panic....pills are the easy or quick fix.  The problem is we are givien these meds to use on an as needed basis but they are all so darn addictive....if you feel you cant come off of them you will need help benzos are one of the most difficult to quit....but take it from me i was taking allot of xanax and am now clean......ask plenty of questions we are here to help.....

weaning off slowly under your doctors care is the way to go with benzos...how much ativan r u on each day?  and for how long?  there is a web site called benzo dot uk dot org...has lots of good info
