Yes I would say it is a problem. He has gone from conventional ways of taking narcotics to a extreme. Sniffing hydro is a bad idea.  No one should put anything with tylenol in their nose or lungs. It can cause bleeding and respitory trouble.  Also these drugs are normally taking orally because that how they are designed to work. Taking them any other way makes the efficiency of the meds themselves not work as well.

To: thank you but
Oh my god I did not know it could cause his lungs to bleed but please tell me since I know nearly nothing about this, does sniffing all drugs so the same things, like cocaine, or particulalry this one?  And what harm does this stuff do to your body what is the maximum one can take every few hours without dying.  Please help!

As far as what sniffing can do to the body they all have the same issues such as ripping the nose apart and inhaling that stuff into your lungs is awful.  Tylenol causes bleeding issues.
As far as the max one can do that varies with each person.  Oral ingesting hydro there are two issues.. The amount of tylenol is one liver can only process so much in one day.  The hydro itself can shut down breathing if taken in large doses.. this happens at different amounts for people.
You should convince him what he is doing is bad for him.. his health and everything else.

Lesliedean, You are probably not with the right guy... he sounds a lot like me and I wouldn't worry too much about him as I would you.  He's doing things that are hard core and absolutely irrational, stupid, irresponsible.  I have done many things like him and should be dead but always managed to come back with a smile... It was sooo selfish of me because I never thought about the people around me... It was easy to do to me!  I'm so surprised that he is doing THIS in front of you???  It's a mind scrambler!  I can’t imagine that he has a lot of respect for himself let alone you?  Maybe Get out while the getting out is easy, and that is easy for me to say. I know what it means to love someone.  Love can concur all but it can also blind all.

I was not normal when I was doing those kinds of things.  It sounds like you are reasonably normal.  Do you want a normal life?

As far as sniffing...I have heard it makes thr drug hit faster but not last as long.

And from those I know that do it, bloody noses and such should be expected. Not a good thing, and that's from people that do it (not I, I'm too scared to do that or shoot up).

Good luck with him. Are you trying or have you quit yourself? If so, you don't need to be around people using. Plus, think how bad yop'd feel if you have quit, or are quitting, and you get arrested just because you were with someone else using/buying?

Normal people honestly take by the label and their doctors intructions.....

Addicts crush them and snort them there is a huge difference....

Did you ever contemplate crushing any meds your doctor prescribed then taking  a straw or a dollar bill and snorting them up your nose???????
