rash

can anyone tell me why i got a rash its driving me crazy ,i saw a doctor at er and he gave me benedril for the icth and melatonin to help me sleep but i havent taken any yet ,i dont know if it will afect my detox ,i never told the doctor i was detoxing from the xanax. and is this rash cause by it and is going to drive me insane snow.

hiya yes all she gave me was benedril and those 2 shots i must go tomorrow and as for the valtex because this is driving me crazy my daughter is 26 and her doctor told her just to take baking soda baths that was it ,i told her to take some benedril but she cant till bedtime because the little one has it also she said she wish she could slee trew it also but for her and the little one only baths its so odd how some doctors are very good and others dont care at all thank you so much huggsssssssss snow.

they didnt give you any medication for it???  they gave me something, i cant remember the name of it...but ithink it is the same stuff they give to herpes patients...it is supposed to make it go away quicker   damn i wish i could remember the name of it...i only took it for 7 days and wham i was 100% better...valtrex??? maybe   but ask your doc.about it,,,dont worry about the benadryl, really dont...you are fine with it... and sorry the shots i dont know about so i cant help you on that...sorry...but as your doctor about it...it really helped...i was really only really really sick for about 5 days...

the  doctor said there were no rooms left in the hospital and since i live alone i would be better there and a nurse would come everyday to check on me he said it would take about 14 days and i was to go see her on monday ,none of my family ever had it before ,my mom says the only childhood deasese i ever had was scarlet fever ,so far im just totally going crazy with the ich so i have been taking a lot of benedril and sleeing all the time i dont think i would of woke up if the nurse had not come over.but im getting nervous that i will be addicted to the benadril and use it all the time to sleep,im going to cambodia in november to adopt a baby and if i cant cleen up i wont be able to do it and that worries me so much and know with this chicken pox im really worried also i need to get my next heatitis shot on the 15th i dont know know if they will give it to me and it has to be excat timing for them ,and when i get back i get another one i have 2 shots already i need one more before i leave i am sitting here going crazy i think im gonna lose my mind if i cant do this it will ruin me .snow

what did the doctor say for you to do?  he isnt going to admit you into the hosp.?  i was immediately admitted, and put into a type of "quarantine" (actually quite embarrassing) but the nurses and doctors had to be in full "bright yellow quarantine suits?" before they could come into my room and that was because of how dangerous it can be for the elderly, no i'm not calling YOU elderly but they had other elderly patients on the same floor as me and didnt want to transmit it to their own patients... so please watch your temp. and pay attention to how you lungs feel...if they start to feel heavy, thats not a good sign....hope you get well quick with no complications...keep me posted

ty ty im 50 wow i wonder why doctor never told me and gave me 2 shots and said come back on monday my daughter and grandaughter have it in there eyelids mouth me just all over my body and vace but not in my eyes wowwwwwwww im shocked wow and i was teasing my brother when he was worried i was always told it was just men had to worry know i feel bad but it was a innocent teas i love my brother so much would not want anything happening to any of us ,im gonna go back in the morning because i just took benedril ty so much snow.

hey, how old are you? chickenpox can be extremely dangerous for anyone over their mid teens in age, thats why i was hospitalized...i had chickenpox in my mouth, throat and lungs...so be very very careful...and pay attention to how you are feeling...i also ended up with pnemonia also because of the pox...i was so sick i was delerious...really, i didnt think i had chickenpox at first, so i thought flu, i almost overdosed on tylenol and advil because i was so delerious that i had forgotten that i had already taken some, so i was vomiting from that...uuuggghhh!!! it was just awful, and i have some scarring also, so be careful please get to a doc asap.  dont make the water in your bath too hot, luke warm is best, i also used oatmeal baths.

hiya your right its the chickenox ,i was over at my daughters last week so i havent talked to them in a few days and my grandaughter and daughter have the chicken pox ,i told my daughter it would be nice to have called me and let me know here i was going crazy .the doctor finaly said i can have her as a doctor ,she gave me 2 shots of benadril and told me to buy calamine lotion and to take baking soda baths.wow i had the best sleep today i had in weeks that benedril reallly knoks you out unless it is because i was so tired .i had to laugh my brother called me tonight and he has it also and he is 44 his big worry is that he loses his manhood lmao i quess someone told him it was dangerous but i taught it was the momths that was dangerous for a man ,so here in my area there is a outbreak of chicken pox go figure lol.i have a apointment monday with the doctor without my mom so i will know get the help i need ,thank you so much for being here for me i was really thinking i was losing my mind but when i get a letter of encouragement it means so much to me thank you from the bottom of my heart snow.

i dont blame you hun...i had a similar rash one while i was still doing hair...i suddenly out of the blue started getting this rash on my hands, arms, neck and toes...i went to a dermatoligist, and he said mine was a contact dermatitus, and gave me a cream. but yours sound a little different just because its on your belly and back, so definately check it out hun...unless you are using something new in your laundry? i am 40 now, i came down with the chickenpox at age 34 and was admitted to the hospital for 5 days...have you ever had chickenpox yet?  just something to throw out there to keep an eye on... keep me posted hun...

hi again ,im taking my mom to her doctors today and im gonna cry and scream until her doctor will see me ,im there with my mom everyweek and there is no reason she cant take me as a patient at the same time she sees my mom ,,,,,im not leaving her office without a fight ,they can lock me up then that way i will see someone ty snow

hi yes its everywere belly back yes its small blisters i think its clear but i scatch so much that it bleads i finaly took the beneril but i only got releiv for about 2 hours are so ,i was so hpier i pulled a muslce in my neck ,its just getting more frustrating everyday know i cant turn my neck and i ich like crazy and im going crazy ty snow.

what does it look like hun...is it red with miniture little blisters that itch like mad, so you scratch it raw?  if there are little blisters, what is in the blisters, is it a clear liquid?? and is the rash everywhere, on your belly and back also  or just your limbs?

ty my rash is everywere my fingers toes my arms etc i just woke u with it the other day and its driving me crazy ,ty for the information i will get some relief know cause its getting really hard .huggssssssssss snow.

the benedryl wont effect your detox, its really nothing but an antihistimine to stop the itching, the meletonin is fine also...benedryl is an over the counter med and it may even help you get some sleep, its non-addictive so dont worry, just take some and give yourself some relief..where is the rash and what does it look like?

ty so much  the doctor did not know what it was he is making me appointment with a dermatoloist,so he said it could be a allrgic reaction are he when people get verry stressed out they could break out in a rash so he said to take the benedril until i see the speacialist he will help take the ich away but i dont want it to affect my detoxing im going crazy i dont know how much longer i can take it ty huggssssssssss snow.

Hi Honey!

I have not heard of  rash, but there maybe someone here who has. What did the doc think the rash was from?
You better keep on eye on it. A rash is usually an allergic reaction to somthing. Like if you take a new med. Also, it can be from a spider bite, or other insect. If you notice a "red line" associated with the rash, you will need immediate medical attention.

Don't let it go too long.
