i was taking 6-10 pills a day.. 10mgs vicodin. I dropped to 20 mgs right away. then 15mg... I have tapered 2.5mgs per week. its been 5 weeks.. yes it was a long process but i didn't start really having any mild symptoms til this week when i got to 7.5mgs from 10.

That is awesome..you are my hero!  You dropped so much so fast, I am taking it a bit slower. Dropping 7.5 mg a week as I am deathly afraid of withdrawls. I had an appointment to begin the SUB treatment but I was to be 2 full days off of Hydro....I almost went nuts after 13 hours..(or did I tell you that already)?  Anyway, it scared me enough to do the slow withdrawl...I feel more awake already going from 12/6 and Im ready to drop to 5 on saturday. Your story is inspiring to me as each person has their own way to deal with it...I think I am in your line of thinking...Keep up the good work and God Bless you!
